Wade watch party underway
The House of Chow is filling with people supporting candidate Jerrry Wade as election results are starting to trickle in.
With 26 of 39 precincts reporting, Wade has 30.77 percent of the vote.
About 40 supporters are here with more coming in. First Ward Councilman Paul Sturtz was also in attendance.
“I think Jerry’s been a very important councilman,” he said. “He’s set a high standard for service out town. “
Wade said he didn’t have any get out the voter operations going on during the day and he and his wife went to Fayette for lunch.
“You reach a time when you have to say its up to the voters,” he said.
Wade said overall his campaign has been going well.
“You try to build your campaign as you go and you just try to get on,” he said.
