Maclin strikes for Missouri

No tags for this entry.

Northwestern failed to take advantage of Missouri's mistake after missing a 47-yard field goal attempt.

On third down and three for the Tigers on the next drive veteran wide receiver Tommy Saunders dropped an easy first down on a quick slant. It's hard to watch these experienced players, who have accomplished so much for Missouri continually let them down in key situations.

The defense stepped up once again as senior defensive end Stryker Sulak had a huge sack to push Northwestern back ten yards. The Wildcats were forced to punt, and chose to give Maclin a shot to return it.

With no hesitation Maclin took it right up the middle to the endzone. The speedster went untouched for 75-yards to knot the game up at 10. Missouri now has the momentum going into the half.
