Tigers win in OT
Northwestern converted a first down quickly and set up for first and goal on the 9-yard line. On first down Weatherspoon brought pressure and forced an incomplete pass. On second down the quarterback sneaked up the middle for one yard. On third-and-eight Weatherspoon got in the backfield again and forced a fumble, putting Northwestern on the 32-yard line with one shot for the endzone.
The Hail Mary fell incomplete and the Tigers storm the field in victory.
