Texas Tech advances, will face No. 3 Missouri on Thursday

In Wednesday's game, Texas Tech's Mike Singletary went on a second-half tear, at one point scoring 33 of 35 consecutive points for the Red Raiders, who will face the Tigers on Thursday.

Remember all the momentum Texas A&M built with its home win over Missouri last Saturday? Texas Tech just killed it.

The sixth seeded Texas A&M Aggies led No. 11 Texas Tech 48-29 at halftime and led by as many as 22 points, but the Red Raiders rallied with a 59-35 second half to upset Texas A&M, 88-83. Texas Tech got 43 points off of the bench from sophomore Mike Singletary. In 31 minutes, Singletary went 14-of-20 from the field and 12-of-14 from the line.

The win earns Texas Tech a matchup with No. 3 Missouri at 8:30 p.m. on Thursday night. In the teams' only meeting this season, Mizzou routed Texas Tech, 97-86, at Mizzou Arena.
