Energy picking up at the Ford Center
Nearly five minutes into the second half, Oklahoma and Oklahoma State are tied at 40. The game has been a high-energy, back-and-forth, physical battle between two rivals.
Oklahoma State came up with two hustle plays to tie the game. After guard Byron Eaton missed a shot, he tracked the ball down to the other end of the floor and came up with a steal on an OU fast break. On the following possession, forward James Anderson put up an airball while falling to the floor, only to get up and steal the ball from Oklahoma near midcourt.
Right now, the story of the game going forward may be how the teams manage foul trouble. For Oklahoma State, Marshall Moses is already sitting with four fouls. For Oklahoma, both Willie Warren and Tony Crocker have three fouls.
