Kansas State leads by two at the half

In the day's first game, Kansas and Baylor went on huge runs and swung momentum back and forth like a pendulum. In the day's second game, No. 4 Kansas State and No. 5 Texas are battling in an extremely tight game.

Kansas State leads Texas, 29-27, at halftime at the Ford Center in Oklahoma City.

Kansas State's big gun -- guard Denis Clemente -- was held off of the board for almost the entire first half, until he hit a leaning, contested 3-pointer with nine seconds remaining in the half to give Kansas State the lead. Jacob Pullen is the only Wildcat in double figures, with 10 points on 3-of-6 shooting. No other Wildcat has more than five points.

Texas' outside game has been almost non-existent today. The Longhorns have been funneling the ball down low, as centers Dexter Pittman and Clint Chapman lead Texas with nine and six points, respectively.
