Missouri women lose
The public address announcer at the Ford Center just announced a final from the women's tournament across the street at the Cox Center: Texas 61, Missouri 59.
If the numbers are correct (of which I have no confirmation), Texas went on a 9-0 run over the final 3:02 to secure the win.
While the loss means bad things for Missouri men's coach Mike Anderson's colleague, Cindy Stein, it means great things for his daughter, Yvonne. Yvonne Anderson is a freshman guard at Texas, and will advance with her team to tomorrow's action thanks to tonight's comeback victory.
