Missouri Opens Big 12 Tournament Against Nebraska

The fifth-seeded Tigers are set to being their Big 12 title defense against the 12th-seeded Nebraska Cornhuskers. The two teams will be squaring off for the third time this season. Missouri has won both of the previous meetings, 70-53 in Columbia on Jan. 23, and 74-59 in Lincoln last month.

Even after having Nebraska's number this year, the Tigers are not taking this game lightly. As has been the mantra all season, Missouri refuses to look past the Huskers and will use the old, cliched sports term and take the tournament one game at a time.

The Tigers have not played since losing their home finale to Kansas on Saturday. The team had an awful day from the field, and struggled to get much going offensively. Coach Mike Anderson attributed it to "one of those days," and the team is expecting a better performance on Wednesday.
