MSA election Starbucks promotion underway

The free coffee promotion advertised by the Joe Fessehaye/Lindsey Abell campaign is underway.

MU students may vote in the MSA election using an official laptop and receive a hand stamp for one free tall coffee. The students do not have to vote for Fessehaye/Abell to qualify for the hand stamp.

Fessehaye said he talked to store manager Jack Crump about the promotion last weekend, and was told the store would participate. He said Crump may have not relayed the message to the employees working tonight during the promotion, which could have caused the confusion. Earlier a Starbucks supervisor said the promotion was not true.
