KCOU endorsement removed from Web site
KCOU/88.1 FM's official Web site no longer has an endorsement of Missouri Students Association presidential and vice-presidential candidates Joe Fessehaye and Lindsey Abell. Their unoffical Web site, savekcou.org, still shows the endorsement.
Though MSA auxiliaries are not specifically prohibited from endorsing candidates in either the bylaws or this year's Board of Elections Commissioners handbook, President Jim Kelley said to not prohibit that was an oversight on his part.
"it has been explicitly stated in the past," he said. "We didn't this year."
Kelley said he sent an e-mail to all MSA auxiliaries to tell them they should not use MSA resources to endorse candidates.
