MSA committees meet, prepare for year
The Missouri Students Association legislative branch began its 48th session Tuesday night with the first committee meetings. Because no legislation has been filed yet, committees reviewed developments from summer and discussed which projects they might take on this year.
Senate Speaker Jonathan Mays also announced officer vacancies, including clerk of the Senate and Student Fee Review Committee chairperson.
Committees meet again next Tuesday, and the full Senate will meet Wednesday.
