Legislation promoting parking permit reform passes
The Residence Halls Association, Missouri Students Association and the Legion of Black Collegians passed a resolution to urge the MU Department of Parking and Transportation to adjust the price of parking permits according to the the convenience and quality associated with the lot. The Graduate Professional Council singularly opposed the legislation.
The resolution claims the Department favors football fans over students who have purchased parking permits by forcing them to move to more inconvenient lots and issuing unfair parking tickets and towing on game days.
