Power goes out at Memorial Stadium
There was a power outage at Memorial Stadium from 6:52 to 7:06 p.m. The stadium gates were closed during this time period. Event staff Ryan Peterson said they closed the gates in case they have to cancel the game for crowd control. “We don’t want to have to let everyone back out if they cancel the game,” Peterson said. According to the smaller jumbotron on the south side of Memorial Stadium, MU is experiencing a campus wide power outage. The larger jumbotron is not working and there will be no PA or audio until power is restored.
