Nixon, Hindman to speak at weekend's commencement ceremonies

MU will award 2,144 degrees for December commencement Friday and Saturday. Of that number, 1,445 are bachelor’s degrees, 532 are masters’ degrees, 162 are doctorate degrees and five are professional degrees.

Speakers for the weekend’s commencement ceremonies include Gov. Jay Nixon, who will speak at the College of Agriculture, Food and Natural Resources ceremony Saturday, and Mayor Darwin Hindman, who will speak at the School of Natural Resources commencement ceremony Saturday.

The university’s Web site contains a full schedule of times and locations for each school’s commencement ceremonies.
