Freshman Andrew Hoien dies, cause undetermined

Freshman Andrew Hoien died March 23, and the cause of death has not yet been determined.

Mr. Hoien was a journalism student, and he has worked as a graphic designer for The Maneater.

There is a Facebook group created in memory of Mr. Hoien.

Services will be Friday and Saturday at Langsford Funeral Home in Mr. Hoien's home town, Lee's Summit. The Friday service will be at 5 p.m., and the Saturday service will be at 10 a.m. The address for the funeral home is 115 SW 3rd Street, Lee's Summit, Mo. 64063.

Andrew came from a wonderful family and especially a terrific aunt and god mother, whom we adore and will cherish til death do us part.
