Psychology minor reinstated

Additional funds provided from the College of Arts and Science by dean Michael O’Brien will allow MU to reinstate the psychology minor and open additional spaces in the 3000 and 4000 level courses, Jill Edwards, Department of Psychological Sciences academic advisor, said in an e-mail Thursday.

Edwards also said the department has removed the psychology major restrictions on upper level courses, allowing any student to enroll in upper level psychology courses with the exception of capstone labs, which will remain for psychology majors only.

The Maneater previously reported on the elimination of the psychology minor due to rising enrollment and limited funds in late February.
