Reactor Field no longer available to public
The Reactor Field parking area will be reserved for game day employees, media and staff beginning this football season, according to a season ticket information sheet Associate Athletic Director Whit Babcock sent to several student organization leaders in an e-mail Thursday.
The information sheet in the e-mail stated MU, MUPD and the Department of Intercollegiate Athletics made Reactor Field unavailable to students due to behavior issues.
Missouri Students Association President Jordan Paul, one of the student organization leaders who partnered with the Athletics Department to make decisions regarding ticketing and seating last year, said student leaders were not consulted on the issue before the decision was made.
