Christian organizations hold retreats this weekend
Four Christian student organizations held retreats this weekend.
Chi Alpha headed to Camp Pomme De Terre in Pittsburg, Mo. The retreat rans from 5:30 p.m. Friday to noon Sunday. Freshmen can attend for free.
The Veritas Fall Retreat took place Friday thru Saturday at the Lake of the Ozarks state park. Their speaker was David Richter, pastor at the Trinity Presbyterian Church in Rochester, Minn.
Mizzou BSU stayed at Camp Windermere at Lake of the Ozarks for the Escape Fall Retreat from Friday to Sunday.
The Christian Campus House retreat held at the Maranatha Retreat Center in Everton, Mo., CCH director of women’s ministries Becky Doran said. The guest speaker was Tyler Edwards, minister at the Cornerstone Christian Church in Joplin, Mo.
