RHA helps fund Humans vs. Zombies game
The MU Residence Hall Association approved a funding request of $150 for the student game Humans vs. Zombies.
This is the first year the game of Humans vs. Zombies has received funding of any sort from RHA, Michael Crawford, Rules and Policies Subcommittee chairman, and Speaker of Congress Blake Lawrence said.
“Humans vs. Zombies is a game of moderated tag commonly played on college campuses,” the Humans vs. Zombies Web site stated. “Human players must remain vigilant and defend themselves with socks and Nerf guns to avoid being tagged by the growing zombie horde.”
The $150 from RHA will go toward 200 color fliers, a zombie statue prize for the winner, and an end of game celebration, the funding request stated.
RHA has also requested that its logo be printed on the fliers, as it continues to work to make itself known among MU students, National Communications Coordinator Mike Madden said.
