Vagina Monologues informational meeting Wednesday
The Women’s Center is encouraging any women interested in logistics, marketing, performing and female empowerment to attend Wednesday’s informational session about the campus’ production of the Vagina Monologues.
This is MU’s 10th annual performance of the production, aimed to stop violence against women and girls. The informational session will provide details on the production’s organization, including cast and committee selection.
“It’s probably my favorite thing to do during the spring semester,” junior Lauren Olson said in a video posted on the center’s website. “What I like most about the Vagina Monologues is, besides meeting probably the coolest women on campus, is performing. The vibe on performance night is really positive, really fun.”
Auditions will be held Oct. 26-28 in the Center for Social Justice. No experience is necessary. Wednesday’s informational session will take place at 6 p.m. in the CSJ.
