STRIPES elects director for 2011
The STRIPES executive board elected current board member Jeralyn Pautler as the orgranization's next director, according to a news release Thursday. Pautler, a junior, is serving her second term as an executive board member. She has been involved with STRIPES, MU's safe-ride program, since her freshman year.
“My vision for STRIPES is to continue to grow the program, both in membership and on campus,” Pautler said in the news release. “I want students and Columbians alike to know who we are and how dedicated our members are.”
Pautler's year as director of STRIPES, an auxiliary service of the Missouri Students Association, will begin Jan. 1, 2011 and last the duration of the year.

Hey John! Always glad to see a fellow tiger taking an interest in the most awesome student group on campus, as part of the most awesome student government in the world! (I spent a while in A022, and knew quite a few STRIPES execs and Directors, and man each one is just as stellar as the next) I bet the don't read the comments though, after all, they are in the news all the time! Some PR operation they got over there. Tell you what, shoot them and email over at mizzou.stripes@gmail.com and go ahead and copy the director matt wheeler, mcwqy9@mail.missouri.edu with some of your comments, I'm sure they'd take them to heart. They always do mine. Stripes, it's for lovers, since 2001.

Fundraising? Maybe they need to focus on other things first, something past directors neglected. Internal operations are the true backbone...since they're funded by MSA and widely accepted as a necessity to the campus, I don't see their funding going anywhere but up. Chill out about fundraising and let them focus on what they see needing the most attention. I'm sure they know better than you do.
