Homecoming game sells out
MU's Homecoming game against Oklahoma has sold out, according to an Athletics Department news release.
The game, which will be broadcasted on ABC and featured on ESPN's College GameDay, is set for 7 p.m. on Oct. 23. A crowd of more than 70,000 is anticipated. Capacity for Memorial Stadium was raised to 71,004 in 2009.
According to the Athletics Department website, for the 2010 season, the Tiger's largest crowd was at Kyle Field in College Station, TX. The game drew 83,452 spectators. The highest attended home game was against Colorado on Oct. 9. That game drew 62,965 fans.
