Paint it Pink Week winds down with pizza
Tonight at the Plaza Amphitheater, the Residence Halls Association offered Shakespeare’s Pizza to students willing to donate $5 for breast cancer research. In addition to pizza, students received Paint it Pink T-Shirts.
At 7 p.m. all students who donated to receive a shirt were invited to be in the picture that will be sent with RHA’s donation to the Susan G. Komen Foundation at the close of the T-shirt sales. RHA and Campus Dining Services also provided pink M&M chocolate cookies in the dining halls today.
“We’ve sold about three fourths of our T-shirts and if we don’t sell them all this week we will extend the sale in Speakers Circle, because we really just want to raise as much money as we can,” RHA Vice President Lauren Thomas said.
