Soil scientists used to have to wait years to dig up the results of their research on soil management, but next week two Polish scientists will speak at MU about a tool that brings up those results much more quickly, according to a university news release.

Tony Dexter, a professor of soil physics at Institute of Soil Science and Plant Cultivation, and Ewa Czyz̊, a professor of soil hydrology at the University of Rzeszów will speak about their tool Monday. They will be conducting a study in Sanborn Field on the MU campus to see how different agriculture practices affect the soil quality.

The lecture will begin at 3:30 pm. Monday in N208 Memorial Union on the MU campus. The lecture is free and open to the public and a reception will be held after the remarks.
