Wellness Resource Center receives grant
The Wellness Resource Center has been named a "model program," by the U.S. Department of Education.
"It's great to be recognized for our accomplishments," Wellness Resource Center Director Kim Dude said in a news release.
According to a news release, the university will also receive a $130,000 grant. The grant will go toward funding a new project, titled "Life is Not a Spectator Sport."
MU is one of five universities to be named a model program. This is the fourth year MU has been named as such, winning in 1994, 1999 and 2006.
