RHA hosts gaming tournament
The Residence Halls Association’s former National Communications Coordinator Mike Madden and fellow RHA members hosted the annual ALS gaming festival Wednesday evening.
There was pizza, soda and gaming in Stotler Lounge, and gift cards were handed out to tournament winners.
“As far as tournaments go, we have 'Rock Band,' 'Super Smash Bros. Brawl' for Wii, and a few stand-alone gaming systems like Super Nintendo, Nintendo 64, board games and some minute-to-win-it, game-show type of competitions,” Madden said.
Madden estimated this years tournament to have tied with last year's as far as attendance.
“Last years turnout was around 175 people, but obviously not everyone comes at once, it is a steady flow throughout the night,” Madden said.
