MU Student Exceptions recognized as official student organization
Just three days before its wheelchair tour of campus, the MU Student Exceptions group was recognized as an official student organization.
“I'm extremely excited because we now have an all-inclusive group for students with disabilities,” graduate student Gina Ceylan said. “We have an official voice on campus, and we're going to use it to make some progress.”
In addition to the newly founded student groups Sight Club and the Delta Alpha Pi Honor Society, MUSE offers an outlet for students with disabilities to congregate.
MUSE’s wheelchair tour begins at noon on Thursday on Lowry Mall, and it encourages anyone to attend.
