Curators approve the issuing of bonds for campus projects

In a teleconference meeting Wednesday, the UM system Board of Curators approved $252.3 million in bonds to fund several projects spanning across its four campuses.

Specifically to MU's campus, the approval will assist the renovations to Mark Twain residence hall, the east campus chiller plant and for a new storm water main.

MU Health Care's Green Meadows Family Medicine Clinic will receive $30 million of the funds, and $51.7 million has been allocated for the patient care tower and Ellis Fischel Cancer Center.

All of these renovations were discussed more in-depth at the curator's Nov. 22 meeting, and additional information can be found here.
