Pipe bursts at Mark Twain residence hall

No tags for this entry.

Rising temperatures resulted in a water pipe burst in Mark Twain residence hall Friday morning.

“It’s just the freeze and thaw from winter weather, and once the weather warms up like this, pipes start bursting on campus,” Campus Facilities Communications Manager Karlan Seville said.

Although she’s unsure when the pipe burst, Seville said students first began experiencing problems in the last two to three hours.

“They’re working on it right now and it should be fixed before one,” Seville said.

My toilet was already up and flushing again @ around 12:00. Much love to the maintenance team!
