The Residence Halls Association denied a Mizzou Dashboard funding request of $595 Monday night.

The funding request intended to purchase T-shirts to advertise its upcoming annual energy conservation competition.

Freshman Kathy Rudd, a resident of College Avenue, said she has never heard of Mizzou Dashboard

“Which, I think is unfortunate, because as someone who cares about this, I would have checked it when I had the opportunity, trying to conserve my own energy,” Rudd said.

Freshman Chasidy Kretzer said she believed her next funding request, money for T-shirts to advertise Mizzou Blackout, would pass.

“We’ll make most of the money back and give it to RHA,” Kretzer said.

Mizzou Dashborad will soon expand from three residence halls to nine. Kretzer said Mizzou Dashboard’s advertising efforts will continue through other means.

“I think that’s going to be our next step, going to the halls that have money,” Kretzer said.
