RHA’s external budget falls short
Because Casino Night, the final event of Residence Halls Association week, cost more than anticipated, RHA’s external budget has fallen short.
Approximately $100 remains in RHA’s external budget, which is used to fund events. The error is a result of a newly implemented accounting system, RHA President Rachael Feuerborn said.
“We should have had way more than that,” freshman Chasidy Kretzer said. “We still have events through external to put on.”
Feuerborn said the sheet indicating the estimated cost of the event was confusing.
“It was around $500 more,” Feuerborn said about the cost of RHA week. “In retrospect, RHA week was around $5,000, so it wasn’t too much more.”
Feuerborn said Internal, another section of RHA, has plenty of money left in their budget. After some money is switched around, Feuerborn said both internal and external should be fine.
