RHA to host diversity events
The Residence Halls Association will host three diversity centered events near the end of April.
On April 15, Multicultural Center Spokesman Pablo Mendoza will host a diversity seminar, which will include activities promoting awareness of subtle racism.
These events are intended to raise diversity awareness on campus, RHA Vice President Lauren Thomas said
On April 20, RHA will host a Jeopardy night where participants will be quizzed about MU's history or diversity topics.
Paul Reeves, National Communications Coordinator In Training, said he will speak with various diversity organizations around campus in order to formulate questions that address all areas of diversity.
Finally, on April 27, RHA will host an "Around the World with RHA" event, which will feature booths from various student organizations. The event will feature booths, crafts, and other means to teach students about culture.
"Diversity is a collection of cultures, ethnicities, backgrounds, practices, and heritage — all put together," Thomas said.
