Three-car collision on College Avenue results in injuries, blocks traffic

A three-car collision at the intersection of College Avenue and Locust Street blocks traffic. Three people with injuries from the crash, an adult, a child and a baby, were transported to University Hosptial.

A three-car collision at the intersection of College Avenue and Locust Street has blocked traffic on College in both directions. As of 6:35 p.m., two ambulances, three fire trucks and three Columbia Fire Department SUVs were at the scene of the accident.

Three people who sustained injuries, one adult, one child and one baby, are being transported to University Hospital by ambulance.

Senior Zach Zigmund lives near the intersection of College and Locust and said he heard the crash from his house.

"It sounded like a bomb when the first two cars collided," Zigmund said.
