MU returns to U.S. News & World Report's top 100 colleges list

U.S. News & World Report ranked MU as the 94th best university in the country in its 2011 Best College rankings released Tuesday.

That ranking ties MU with Iowa State University, the University of California-Riverside and the University of San Diego. Within the state, MU ranked behind Washington University in St. Louis, which was ranked 13th, and Saint Louis University, which was ranked 86th. University of Kansas ranked 104th on the list.

The ranking does place MU back in the top 100 colleges nationwide, rising from its rank of 102 in last year's list.
