Jewish students celebrate Rosh Hashanah
Jewish students on campus celebrated Rosh Hashanah, the Jewish New Year, this past Wednesday, Thursday and Friday. Dinners and services were facilitated by the Jewish Student Organization and Alpha Epsilon Pi Fraternity.
JSO Vice President Emily Shyken said there was a good turnout to all of the events.
“We had probably 50 people,” Shyken said. “That’s really good for us. A lot of new faces that we usually only see once or twice a year.”
Yom Kippur services are coming up on Friday, Saturday and Sunday.
