Mizzou Chi Alpha Holds to hold retreat this weekend
This weekend, Mizzou Chi Alpha is holding their fall retreat to allow new members to socialize and relax.
“When we think of a retreat, we want it to be something that is going to be relaxing but also at the same time be a way for everyone in the group to get to know each other a little better and getting closer to God,” said James Boley, Mizzou Chi Alpha campus missionary associate.
Boley said about 50 people will be attending the retreat to hear Jerod Quinn, an MU Center for Independent Study staff member, speak on having conversations with God. Although the reservation date for the retreat has passed, information on upcoming events can be found on Mizzou Chi Alpha’s Facebook page.
