This is just ridiculous. There is a evident problem at Mizzou and while he did get arrested there needs to be something done to prevent events like this happening in the future. Minority students can not feel safe in a place where we feel there is a substantial group of people who do not accept us in the community.

You are joking, right? Obviously racism is an issue, that I won't deny...but it certainly runs both ways. Minority students with their Culture Centers and minority Greek life...they sure do their part to set themselves aside from everyone else. Stop making the fact that minorities are minorities such a huge deal, if we'd stop separating ourselves it wouldn't be such an issue. We're all equal. Get over it. Stop clinging to the past. Minorities are not so much the victim, but more an accomplice.

Sami, how many Black friends do you have? I'm guessing zero.

Sami you do realize why all of those organizations were started right? Because whites wouldn't allow blacks to participate. Do your research before you try and condemn something. And the BCC is there b/c of the black students that mizzou wouldn't let in. We are not all equal. If we were there wouldn't be a need for things like affirmative action, there wouldn't be racial profiling, etc. You may want to stop being so obtuse and naive. Neither serve you very well.

How ironic that the culprit who vandalized school property with racial slurs is a white kid with dreadlocks...
