Deaton suspends student charged with racist graffiti
Chancellor Brady Deaton temporarily suspended Ben Elliott, the MU freshman who was arrested in connection with Saturday morning's graffiti incident outside of Hatch Hall.
According to a news release, a student under "temporary suspension" will go through the student conduct judicial process. After this process is completed, the temporary suspension will be lifted, to be replaced by a final sanction.
