No confirmation for rumors of Brad Pitt visit to MU
Several rumors about Brad Pitt, the actor and former MU student, paying a visit to campus started circulating via Facebook and Twitter on Thursday. MU spokesman Christian Basi said he's unaware of any visit from Pitt.
On at least one occasion, students confused a Radical Media camera crew, which is on campus to make a film on the School of Journalism’s use of Macs and other Apple products, for what could have been evidence of a Pitt-sighting. The crew's presence at The Maneater's office around 3 p.m. brought a crowd of students, most of whom were under the impression that Pitt was in the Student Center, to the newspaper's office in the lower level of the MU Student Center.
No sightings of Pitt on campus have been confirmed. Stay with The Maneater for any developments in the story.
