Black History Month events conclude with Black Knowledge Bowl
About 40 students gathered at the Gaines/Oldham Black Culture Center on Monday evening for the Black Knowledge Bowl.
"In honor of the conclusion of Black History Month, we're going to have an excellent game of knowledge and understanding of Black History Month," freshman Zachary McGowan said.
Four teams of two competed in the bowl, answering questions in the categories of "Mizzou Black History," "Columbia Black History," "Civil War Black History" and "General Black History." The first place prize was $100.
The event was hosted by the Mizzou Black Men's Initiative.
