UM System Board of Curators interview potential search firms
The UM System Board of Curators met Friday morning in St. Louis to interview potential search firms for the presidential search.
The vast majority of the meeting was conducted in closed session, UM System spokeswoman Jennifer Hollingshead said.
Board chairman Warren Erdman said no decisions were made at the meeting.
According to the UM System website, qualifications for the search firm committee include the extent of members’ “off-limit” candidates, its ability to search candidates with different resources and its availability, among other things.
The board will now hold several public forums to gauge the public's opinion on presidential qualifications. The first meeting is Thursday in Portageville.
