MU closes study abroad programs in Japan
Effective March 21, MU closed all study abroad programs in Japan for spring 2011 and is requiring all students in the area to return home as soon as possible.
“We are offering financial and logistical assistance for students who need to arrange for air transportation back to the U.S.,” the International Center website states. “In addition, MU will work with returning students on an individual basis to resolve issues related to registration, course work, course credits and housing.”
This requirement is in response to the Travel Warning for Japan issued March 21.
