Sustain Mizzou fundraiser comes to a close
Sustain Mizzou President Tina Casagrand said the Local Food for Local People drive fundraiser collected $704.54 throughout the week.
“We hope to raise more (money) after spring break through different fundraising strategies like letters and speaking to large groups of students,” Casagrand said.
The money received from the food drive will go toward buying food from local farmers to donate to the Central Missouri Food Bank and Centro Latino. This fundraiser aims benefits both local farmers and as well as underprivileged Columbia families.
