Weather will move Honors Commencement Ceremony indoors
Due to Saturday's moderate chance for rain and cooler-than-average temperatures, the Spring Honors Commencement Ceremony has been moved indoors to Mizzou Arena.
The ceremony, which was originally slated to be held on Francis Quadrangle, will commence at 8:30 a.m. Saturday. Country singer and MU alumna Sheryl Crow will speak at the ceremony and receive an honorary degree.
"This is an important day for our graduates and their families, and we want to make sure that the environment is comfortable for everyone," University Registrar Brenda Selman said in a news release.
