MU stands behind Joplin after tornado, starts texting campaign
In response to Sunday's tornado in Joplin, MU started a campaign Monday to raise money for the city.
Under the Twitter hashtag of #MIZforJOPLIN, users have been showing their support for the city. They are also encouraging people to text JOPLIN to 864833 to donate $10.
"Let's spread this like crazy," Missouri basketball player junior Kim English tweeted. "We love every inch of Missouri. Mizzou behind Joplin 100%"
