Diabetes self-management courses available for free

The University Physicans – Keene Family Medicine Clinic staff and Hy-Vee are offering courses on diabetes self-management for free.

“The classes will encourage conversation among participants about the basics of diabetes self-care,” a news release stated.

From 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. every Tuesday in June, the classes will be held in the Club Room at Hy-Vee’s store on Conley Road. Space in the course is limited, so those interested are encouraged to contact Rebecca Campbell, a University Physicans – Keene Family Medicine Clinic patient service representative as soon as possible at (573) 882-8000.
