Greek Week raises more than $145,000

Via Twitter, the Greek Week Steering Committee announced Tuesday that the week raised a total of $145,051 for 14 different beneficiaries.

Those benefitting from the week include: Missouri Girls Town, Ellis Fischel Cancer Center, ParentLink, The Center Project, Central Missouri Dream Factory, Central Missouri Honor Flight, Coyote Hill, Heart of Missouri CASA, Muscular Dystrophy Association, Alzheimer’s Association, Ella’s Hope, Cedar Creek Therapeutic Riding Center, MedZou and Granny’s House.

“Traditionally, Greek Week Beneficiaries receive approximately $10,000 to be used in furthering their programs and respective organizations,” Director of Beneficiaries John Baker told The Maneater in March.

Donations will be divided equally throughout all 14 organizations.
