Faculty Council considers adding fall break to MU schedule

Correction: The original version of this blog post attributed the survey and proposal to the MU Faculty Council. The proposal did not originate with the council, nor did they write or help disseminate the survey.

The MIssouri Students Association is considering whether or not to pursue a proposal to alter the MU academic schedule for future fall semesters.

The proposal suggests shortening the week-long break students receive for the Thanksgiving holiday to three days and installing a two-day fall break mid-semester. Students can provide their input in an online survey the MSA helped to distribute.
