Abhi Sivasailam to be Campus Dining Issues Ad Hoc Committee chairman
Missouri Students Association Senate Speaker Amanda Shelton selected Campus Dining Issues Ad Hoc Committee interim chairman Abhi Sivasailam to be the permanent chairman for the committee.
Shelton made her decision on Sunday after previously extending the deadline due to a lack of interested applicants.
In addition to serving as the interim chairman, Sivasailam co-authored the bill to create the committee several weeks ago.
Shelton said she hopes to make a decision regarding a new Academic Affairs chairperson by Monday. The Academic Affairs chairperson position is the only remaining vacancy to be filled.

Sustain Mizzou hosts Notebook Project
Sustain Mizzou held their monthly Notebook Project meeting this past week, during which students meet and create recycled notebooks.
The covers are made from pieces of cereal boxes that have been patched together, and the pages are pieces of recycled paper that have only been used on one side. The notebooks are then bound and sold at the bookstore for $2.50 or at Sustain Mizzou’s table outside of Memorial Union on Tuesdays for $2.
Last week the club made 30 notebooks. Last month the club witnessed the greatest turn out since the project began, with 90 notebooks being created in just an hour and a half of work.
The next Notebook Project meeting will take place in November.
