Mediacom broadcasts final NFL games at Harpo's watch party Saturday
In order to provide an outlet for its subscribers to watch the two remaining NFL games televised on NBC, Mediacom is hosting a “Wildcard Watch” party at Harpo’s Bar on Saturday.
Subscribers lost access to NBC programming early Tuesday morning, after negotiations with KOMU fell through.
With the exception of Saturday’s two games, the remaining NFL games will be televised via CBS and FOX.
“This is one of the tangible ways we can say ‘thank you’ to our customers for the loyalty they have shown Mediacom over the years,” said Larry Peterson, Mediacom’s regional vice president for Missouri in a news release.
After the doors open at 3 p.m., the first game begins at 3:30 p.m., and will feature the New Orleans Saints and the Seattle Seahawks. The second game, between the New York Jets and the Indianapolis Colts, begins at 7 p.m. Free food will be available at the start of both games and during halftime.

While this seems like a nice thing to do for those of us who want to watch NFL games on NBC Saturday it does not take away from the fact that I cannot watch it at home. If I do want to watch it I would then have to find a baby sitter. Very disappointed.
